So I have started a series of projects.... mostly lamps. I started by taking a lamp from my sister in law, she was about to throw it away and I decided I would "turn it into something beautiful". I mean, I had a vision for this lamp: I would sand it and stain it and would make a new shade for it. In my mind the lamp would be a piece of fine decoration, something to admire and envy. I started by sanding it.... and have not finished yet. It is still sitting on my basement, the sander lying next to it asking to be put to work. It is not going to happen.
I have this tendency to unfinished projects.
Oh, I said I have a series of projects, I have yet another lamp to finish. It is an old lamp, in good shape, that I decided to revitalize... or something like that. I gave its shade a green ribbon trim, with beads, and I am yet to finish another trim... another edge of the shade. Maybe this will not remain unfinished....
That would be a miracle.
